Upload your drawings or project details. ScopeLine breaks the job down into the products and work needed to complete it — a clear scope so every contractor prices the same thing.
Planning a renovation, addition, new build or commercial project? Upload your drawings and our team will personally review your generated scope with you — a first pass, then a second pass together — until it's ready, and coordinate getting it priced by contractors.
What's included
First-pass review of your uploaded drawings and generated scope
A second pass with you to finalize quantities, products and selections
Additional review passes if needed to get the scope bid-ready
Coordination with contractors to get the finalized scope priced
Limited-time offer for early projects.
How ScopeLine works
Upload your project
Drawings, photos, specifications, or just a simple description.
We build your scope
Your drawings are read and broken down into the products and work needed to complete the job — quantities included.
Assign products & finalize
We can recommend products and methods for each line, or you specify your own if you have something specific in mind. Once it's finalized, release the scope and drawings to contractors — ours or yours.
Compare bids clearly
Contractors price against the same scope. We sit down with you to review how the bids differ and help you pick the best fit.
One clear scope. Comparable quotes.Drawings don't say what you're getting. Your scope does.
Normally you send a set of drawings, get three numbers back, and everyone assumes they were pricing the same thing. Nobody chose anything — it was decided in conversations no one wrote down. ScopeLine breaks the project down into an understandable scope of work — line items and the products behind them — so every contractor bids on the same requirements.
THE AHA MOMENT
The labour is the same in both bids. Every dollar of the difference is the product, and because it's written down, B has to answer for it before you sign — not after it's installed. A lower bid doesn't mean a better price if contractors are pricing different scopes.
Paste a supplier link and the product comes in with its photo and spec — not a line of typed text. Your drawings arrive already sorted into lines with quantities; you or your architect assign what goes on each one.

2% = $8,000
When bids are based on different assumptions, it can be difficult to know whether the lower price is actually better — or simply includes less. A small percentage difference in scope adds up to real money, which is why it matters that every bid is priced against the same, defined scope.

Free to join. Free to bid. You still see the drawings, but you price against the scope — the products and work already listed — instead of guessing what the owner needs. Faster for you, and every bidder is pricing the same list.

Nothing to create your project, upload drawings or photos, or build and review your scope, invite contractors and compare bids — that's free for project owners. Larger or more complex projects can add professional support, quoted separately after we review the project.
No. A single bathroom, a flooring replacement or a kitchen refresh is exactly what the self-serve tender is for. Professional support exists for additions, whole-home renovations, new construction and commercial work — but nothing about the platform requires a large project.
Drawings help, but they're optional. Photos, a written description and your product preferences are enough to begin. If you have architectural drawings, ScopeLine reads them and drafts the scope from what's in the set.
No, we don't charge contractors for leads.
You invite whoever you want, including contractors you already know and trust. We don't rank bids for you or steer you to anyone — we make the bids comparable and tell you what we see.
Substitutions are allowed and flagged as substitutions on the line they affect, with the reason attached. You can accept one because it's genuinely better value — you just won't accept one by accident.
It depends on the line item. Some lines carry quantities measured by ScopeLine so every bidder prices the same number; others are marked as requiring contractor verification. Either way the basis is stated on the line, and contractors remain responsible for reviewing the project information and verifying the quantities relevant to their own bid.
Days rather than the weeks a traditional bid cycle takes, because the takeoff and specification are done once for everyone and questions are answered to all bidders at the same time.
If a Professional Support engagement doesn't give you greater clarity and confidence in your scope, tell us and we'll refund the service fee in full.
Send us your permit set. We'll tell you what's missing from it, what it should be priced against, and what a defined tender would cost you.
